It’s a pretty good Saturday when you can walk around and check out 2,000 BMWs.

Bavsound was the Official Audio Sponsor of the Bimmer Invasion LA show on September 7th at the Irwindale Speedway.  This event caters to BMW enthusiasts and focuses on bringing the BMW community together.

Some of the day’s festivities include burnout & exhaust competitions, drag racing, and an award ceremony to conclude the day.

There were over 7,000 attendees, but since it was spaced out in the parking lot, drag race pit, and track, it never felt too crowded.

Some of our favorite companies were there- Kies Motorsports, Liqui Moly, IND Distribution, and too many others to name.

The best part was talking with Bavsound customers and those interested in our products.  We had our 2016 F80 M3 in Messing Metallic so they could experience our sound system.

The look on the faces of those hearing our speakers and subwoofers for the first time was AWESOME.

OMG, WOW, HECK YEAH, and a couple of curse words are what they had to say.

The challenge with car audio is that you don’t get the full experience on a website or YouTube video.  Ideally, you get an immersive experience sitting in a car to truly appreciate the sound system.  Those who were there and got to experience the “before” in their car and the “after” in ours were blown away.

A great story was talking with a YouTube creator, BMW DIY Guy, Stefan about his wife’s experience with Bavsound.  His wife grew up without much money, so she appreciates something that lasts now that she’s an adult.

She put a Bavsound system in her X5 a few years ago.  Occasionally, Stefan would hear his wife pull into the driveway and sit in her car instead of coming into the house.  When he asked why she was sitting in her car, she said “I love listening to my music in my car and don’t want it to stop!”

We don’t always get to hear stories like that, but it’s not hard to feel proud knowing we made somebody’s drive the highlight of their day.

Have fun on the road.
